Consistent performance, useful updates

This isn't my first time with LaunchNotes. We've been using it for about a year now, mainly for our product roadmap and internal communications. This last purchase was for adding multi-product support, and it worked just as smoothly as previous additions. The platform is consistently reliable; never had any downtime issues. It's a key part of our GTM alignment now. Good to see they keep adding useful features without breaking anything.

Pretty easy to get started

Signed up for LaunchNotes to manage our product updates. It was surprisingly straightforward to set up, even for someone not super techy. I integrated it with Slack without any drama, which was a big plus. The team picked it up fast. Everything just worked, which is always nice.

Good value with annual plan

I was looking for a product communication tool and found LaunchNotes. The 20% off annual plan really sealed the deal for me. It felt like a good investment for what I'm getting, especially with all the features included. Happy with the overall value.

Solid tool, minor hiccup

We started using LaunchNotes for our release notes and customer notifications. The custom branding option was great, and the analytics dashboard has been really useful for tracking engagement. Delivery of notifications via email and in-app worked well. My only small issue was with setting up a custom domain initially; it took a bit longer than I expected to get it configured correctly, but support eventually helped me sort it out. Overall, it's a very practical solution that's improved our communication flow.

Thinking of switching from Pendo to LaunchNotes. Anyone got experience with both? How does it compare for release notes and customer comms?

A Abigail Scott 1 month ago
We used Pendo then moved to LN. For release notes and roadmaps, LN is much smoother. Pendo felt kinda clunky for that specific use case.

Yeah, I've heard similar. My team at the last place used LaunchNotes and it was great for getting announcements out without a ton of dev work. Pendo is more for in-app guides right?

Looking at pricing and it seems like the monthly is a bit high for us right now. Are there any discounts for non-profits or if we pay annually?

A Alex Jackson 2 weeks ago
Definitely check out their annual plan, it's usually 15-20% cheaper than monthly payments. They might also have something for non-profits, I think I saw that mentioned somewhere on their site.

Yeah, they do non-profit discounts! And if you're a startup, they have a program for that too. Worth reaching out to their sales team I guess.

Can I connect LaunchNotes to our existing Jira setup? Need to make sure it plays nice with our dev workflow.

A Ashley Lee 5 days ago
Yep, it integrates with Jira. My team uses it to pull in updates directly, saves a lot of manual copying.

They also have Slack and Teams integrations which is super handy for internal comms. Pretty solid ecosystem overall.

Does LaunchNotes have a free tier or trial? Wanna test it out before committing to anything.

S Sandra E. 1 week ago
Yeah, they have a 14-day free trial. I just signed up for it last week, no credit card needed for the trial either which is nice.

They do! And if you go for annual billing after the trial, you usually get a discount too. Like 15-20% off from what I saw when I signed up.
